Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under 13 years of age (or under a higher age threshold if the law of their residence provides for a higher age) without verifiable parental consent. In fact, as per our Terms of Use, persons under 18 are not permitted to use our Services at all. If you are under 18, please do not attempt to use the Services or send any personal information about yourself to us.
If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 (or under 18, in violation of our Terms) without proper consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a minor may have provided us personal information, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate action.
Parents or legal guardians: If you become aware that your minor child (under 18) has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us. We will take steps to remove the data and unsubscribe the child from any promotional contact, in compliance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and relevant laws. Note that in some cases, we may ask for proof of your relationship to the child to ensure we are dealing with the correct authority.
Because we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13, we also do not knowingly distribute such information to third parties. If in the future we decide to offer features directed at children (highly unlikely given our business), we will do so in strict compliance with applicable child data protection laws and update this section accordingly.
